Loving the African Light!

The light feels different, here in Africa. Like our stories. I prefer to think that I'm recording stories rather than just images. I have been privileged to travel to 45 countries, and to live and work on three continents, but home is consistently where I am most inspired, connected and encouraged to grow. 

Till recently, it's been just me and my old Sony a7rii with a Sony 200-600, 5.6 zoom lens and my bean-bag out there. I recently treated myself to the a7rv and am eager to take its superior auto-focus capabilities, out for a "spin!" Each trip presents new opportunities for learning, as does learning from other photographers out there, so there's value in sharing! Feel free to connect or comment!

Wildlife and nature photography is just one genre I enjoy, alongside my husband who takes awesome videos! Here are some of the amazingly created creatures of our continent in their beautiful natural surroundings.
